This free event will take place on Friday, February 5^th, 2010 at 7pm in the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The featured artist for this event is former Grammy Award nominee and Stellar Award winner Ricky Dillard, leader of the New Generation Chorale. On this evening, the choir and Dillard will come together for one of the most exciting concerts of the year and the largest gospel concert in the Gainesville area in 5 years.

The 1st Annual Great GATOR Debaters Tournament is an experiential, educational and ground-breaking experience. For the first time ever, the University of Florida will host a campus-wide debate tournament open to a variety of campus organizations. Debate topics will include pressing issues in our American society, and the winners of the debate tournament will win a cash prize of $200. The Great GATOR Debaters Tournament will provide students with the opportunity to build public speaking skills, think critically regarding pressing issues within our American society and ignite activism in the UF community.

This year's Great GATOR Debaters Tournament will take place on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 7-9pm in the Reitz Union Rion Ballroom. The preliminaries will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2010.
