Created in 2000 by former University of Florida Black Student Union President Suzette Robatham, Fashion X-Clusive raises awareness of beauty in all its forms. The large-scale production features the latest and greatest in fashion and music. It’s sponsored by the help of the University of Florida Student Government, the Black Student Union and generous apparel and cosmetic companies. In February 2010, hundreds from across the state of Florida watched the fashion show. Every year, Fashion X-Clusive increases in size and scope.

 23rd Annual

Florida Invitational

Step Show

One of the most anticipated events of Black History Month is the Florida Invitational Step Show (FISS), which will be celebrating 23 years in 2012. Thousands from across the nation flock to the Stephen C. O'Connell Center to witness the largest student-run step show competition in the Southeast of the historically Black Divine 9 fraternities and sororities.

Each competing for a cash prize and bragging rights, the high energy and theatrics of the performances, as well as celebrity hosts, make this show a success every year. Past hosts include: Terrance and Rosci from BET's 106th and Park, Columbus Short, Fonsworth Bentley and Bow Wow.
